Vehicle Mounted Optical Sensor Systems
Our optical sensor systems can be installed on virtually any land vehicle to meet specific customer requirements. Our systems come in a variety of mounting configurations, armored and non-armored, and can be equipped with specialized communications equipment for image transmission to remote command sites.
Today, Gyrocam Systems has hundreds of vehicle mast-mounted optical sensor systems installed on Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles that are currently fielded in Iraq and Afghanistan, in the hunt for improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and insurgents. The Warfighter depends on our industry-leading reliability and performance for critical route clearance and surveillance missions.
